AquariumChatter.com — Fish Stores

On my way home from work today I saw a sign for a new fish store called Out of the Blue Aquatics.  It is in St Charles,IL at the corner of Route 64 and Durham Road.  The store is not open yet but says that it will be opening in July.  I peeked in the window and there is a small pond type setup in the front of the store and in the back of the store it looks like that is where the main fish room will be.  There looks to be 4 rows of aquariums.  I believe the...

I got to check out a new reef aquarium store called Reefwise in Lisle,IL yesterday.  The shop is owned by Brian and looks to be off to a great start especially for only being open 3 days.  Right now he has two very large aquarium troughs with plenty of live rock, small and large coral colonies and frags.  There was a nice variety of LPS, SPS and soft corals.  The prices were very reasonable for the size of the coral pieces.  Eventually he plans to have a full fish system and more troughs for coral.  He also plans on stocking...
